In recent years, the company Certificados Integrales Funcionales, S.A. de C.V. (CIF) own by Alberto Monroy Calva, has been selling,mainly to State Governments of the PRI, funeral services to public employees. The following facts have leaked to the public within the operation of this service:

CIF partners transfer virtually the total resources that receive to two other companies: Perseverancia Operadora, S.A. de C.V.and Tradiciones Generales, S.A. de C.V. Once these resources fall into these two companies, they are sent directly to the accounts of Alberto Monroy Calva and his son Alberto Monroy Cepeda.
What they do with those resources? Instead of investing in funds that ensure the financial strength to respond to its clients, resources are used to buy properties and luxury vehicles. Proof of this is the recent real estate purchases by CIF in the city of Mexico. CIF bought an apartment on Cuauhtémoc No. 499 (Folio Real 166628) and the house located in Enrique Rebsamen No. 333 (Folio Real 9545208), they are currently buying buying with those same resources, a building in Tlacopac, San Angel. Of course, none of these buildings benefit the operations of the company, and much less to their costumers.
And this business is much worse of what is know. Some State Governments contract on behalf of users or clients of this service without informing the alleged beneficiary of such a situation, and under that pretext, resources are diverted to CIF, who "washed" these resources and therefore are becoming deposited to its partners through various forms.
So be very careful if you been offer for this product, it is possible that in case of death his relatives do not receive absolutely nothing of what it promised them. Especially now when funeral niches in the Mariana Plaza in the Basilica de Guadalupe are on sale.
