IGP Crime cautions people not to hire foreign servants

 

Jammu, February 10 (Scoop News) – The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Crime, Raja Aijaz Ali has cautioned the people of the State not to hire foreign servants for domestic or business activities without knowing their back ground.

In a statement issued here today, the IGP Crime said that it has been found in various cases that these youngsters are kidnapped from their respective places by human traffickers and are pushed into the State on monitory considerations.

 

The IGP Crime disclosed that recently parents of a young Botani boy namely Sonam represented before the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of India that their son had been kidnapped and thereafter sold to one Iqbal Zahgeer of Srinagar. The INTERPOL in consequence to the representation flashed a flag notice to Crime Branch regarding the recovery of the kidnapped boy.

 

On receipt of this notice, the sleuths of Crime Branch Kashmir swung into action and recovered the boy from Gousia Colony Khanyar, Srinagar. The boy is being handed over to his parents through diplomatic channels.

 

Raja Aijaz appealed the people that before hiring such foreigners for any purpose, proper verification of the person must be obtained from the concerned police and other agencies, otherwise it can create trouble for the employer at any time, he warned.
