Impact of population growth on environment

 Population of growth has caused the greatest havoc on environment. Due to increasing demand of sustenance, there has been an over exploitation of natural resources.

Growth of population has created many environmental problems like sound, urbanization, deforestation, overburden of energy utilization, chemical emission in atmosphere and so on. The air, soil, water all is becoming increasingly polluted.

Unemployment, poverty and over –crowding towards urban areas, all these things are result of a massive growth in population. This phenomenon has brought about an increase in slum dwelling, causing havoc to the environment. Transport problem is turning havoc causing a lot of chemical emission into the atmosphere. There has also air, soil, and water all is becoming increasingly polluted. The environment is being polluted.

 

Noise is causing deafness, mental infirmity. Thus growth of population has disturbed the environment.

 

Impact of population growth on clothing

Clothing is included in the basis necessities of man. With the growth of population the clothing problem is also taking shape. A large segment of our population lives in village that is deprived of proper clothing due to poverty, not to speak about fashion etc.,
