Poetry From The Heart

There’s a place I’d love to be
in a log cabin beside the sea
flowers blooming as waves bid bye-bye
a blue vault speckled with clouds up high.
Sea gulls dipping into the deep
as others rest in the sand asleep.

Voices whisper soft words of affection
kisses and hugs of nuzzling passion.
Memories etched within the heart
grips on to the insides never to depart.
Gusts dust our bodies in a blanket of heat
relax our hearts and souls to sleep.

Imprints dig deep within our minds
of adoration felt as one of a kind.
There’s a place I’d love to be
in a log cabin beside the sea
let ocean breezes sweep away pasts
renew pledges of love to forever last.

There’s a place I’d love to be
in a log cabin beside the sea
where tears don’t exist and hurt forgives
frowns smile and hate adores
a sea welcomes lovers to its shore
to recollect and be happy once more.
