IMS Learning Resources, the undisputed market leader in the Indian test-preparation industry, has launched a centre in Mysore, making it the third city in Karnataka with IMS presence. For over 37 years, IMS has opened doors of opportunity for students aspiring to pursue management studies across India, and has now come to Mysore. The centre in Mysore will start operations by the second half of March 2014.
Well-equipped with expert faculty, hi-tech lecture halls, and facilities, the Mysore centre will focus on building dream careers for students seeking admission to MBA courses in Indian Business schools by imparting mentorship, training and counselling. The number of faculty will be proportionate to the number of students to ensure adequate individual guidance. They will prepare the students for several entrance tests for management studies, including CAT, CMAT, MAT, GMAT and GRE. Apart from these, the centre will also provide coaching for Bank Probationary Officers and Clerical exams.
“It gives me great pleasure to announce the launch of our new centre at Jayalakshmipuram in Mysore. With this, IMS has established its presence in three major cities in Karnataka, after Bengaluru and Belgaum, thereby strengthening our brand in the state,” said Mr Anand Sutaria, Group CFO, IMS Learning Resources Pvt Ltd. He added, “Given Mysore’s status as an emerging IT hub and having a robust education system, students look to pursue higher education. So it became important for IMS to establish a centre in Mysore to train students and working professionals for entrance tests like CAT, MAT, GMAT, GRE and Bank PO, and provide them with opportunities to study in India and abroad.”
