Ever heard of Techsoup?  Kind of a secret and when you find them you feel like you struck gold.  That is if you are a social entrepreneur or any other nonprofit with limited resources.   They are funded primarily thru donations by people like Bill and Melinda Gates.   They need help telling the world to donate more used computers and tech stuff.  Most businesses hardly know to donate used equipment, they are too busy focused on the new installs.  30% of the US population has no PC.  Techsoup believes we can conquer the digital divide if we increase awareness about donating PC’s to help more people.  Helping more people means a better educated and independent world.  What’s another reason for businesses to donate?  There are about 8 USA laws to break if a business improperly disposes of tech equipment.   Therefore business donations make more sense than ever.
