India celebrates I-day

For the eighth consecutive year, Prime Minister of India Manmohan Singh today (August 15) unfurled the national flag at the Red Fort in the capitalew Delhi to mark India’s 64th Independence Day.He said poverty, illiteracy remain the biggest challege. He also promised a strong Lokpal Bill to end corruption’. "We tried best to control price rise,’ he said.
