Jammu( J&K),July 14 – After Mumbai terror attack Pakistan has increased its constructing concrete bunkers on the international border with India claiming a senior BSF officer on Tuesday.
BSF Director General , U K Bansal while talking to reporters on the side lines of passing out prade ceremony of new recruits in Udhampur training centre said,” We are aware that Pakistan is not only making a protection wall but also erecting a number of other defensive structures, concrete structures and observation towers along the International border with India".
He said, "there is no need to press panic buttons as India is fully prepared to counter such tactical measures." "We are taking measures to neutralize “any mischief” by the neighbour", Bansal added.
Senior officer said India has lodged strong protests at the highest level and in some isolated cases, Pakistani rangers have heeded to the Indian objections and have stopped construction, but in most of the areas the activities were being carried out unabated.
