The Adelaide oval pitch still remains a batsman’s paradise, offering little assistance to the bowlers, both spinners and medium pacers as well.India hopes that the pitch would get deteriorate on the fourth day and its bowlers especially the spinners would take advantage of it.Though India chose to adopt the five bowlers theory for the match, its main opening bowler, R.P.Singh, was injured and was off the field forcing India to use irregular bowlers like Ganguly and Shewag,on the third day with little effect or impact on the Australian batsmen.
