Kathmandu April 11, 2011: Kathmandu city is completely terrorized with the killing of Anjaani Kumar Chachan, on Sunday at 7:10 PM Nepali standard time here at Teku Ganabahal. Chachan, a 40 year old business trader hails from Rajasthan who was working in Nepal since past two decades through his company A V Enterprises. He was shot in the arm and stomach by two men unidentified men who came on a motor bike. After the shoot out, he was rushed to Bir Hospital, where the doctors pronounced him dead at around 9:15 P.M Sunday. This is the second incident of shooting in the capital with in such close proximity of the police range as Ganabahal, is located around 300M from Metropolitan Police office.
With a deteriorating political situation and police losing its credibility among the general public, the one after another events of killings, bombing, extortion and abduction are certainly creating a terror in people’s mind of being safe and secured.
Highlighting the shoot out program entrepreneurs and industrialists had staged a sit in program at Bir Hospital in the Capital on Monday protesting against the murder.
