New Delhi (PIB-GR-TYP-BIN): The players of ‘Indian Deaf Cricket Team’ along with the Office bearers of the ‘All India Cricket Association of the Deaf (AIACD)’ called on the Vice President of India Mr. Mohd. Hamid Ansari at Vice President House on May 18. The Vice President interacted with all the players and encouraged their morale and wished them great success in their sports career ahead.
This ‘Indian Deaf Cricket Team’ recently got Runners Up Trophy at 1st T-20 Deaf Cricket Asia Cup at Lahore, Pakistan from 18th to 27th April, 2015 being organized by Pakistan Deaf Cricket Association in collaboration with Pakistan Government.
AIACD is an Apex and National Body for promoting and conducting Deaf Cricket tournaments in India.
