Two Indian booked at Chitral on charges of without legal documents.
CHITRAL: As well as two Indian citizens were arrested at Chitral walking here without legal documents. District Police Officer Chitral (DPO) Muhammad Jaafar Khan told this scribe that Ayaz Ahmad son of Hafizullah resident of Mumbai India and Nasir Ahmad son of Munawar Khan Resident of Gujarat India who entered Chitral without any legal documents and were walking here. He said that Chitral police was informed by informed that some suspect persons visiting different localities of Chitral. When they were arrested by local police and inquired about their legal status they had visa only for Bunir district and they had no valid documents for Chitral. DPO said that Chitral police booked these Indian under 14 Foreigners Act and police started further investigations. Hence independent source told this scribe that these two Indian had come to Chitral and visited Bumborate when they asked about their visit they pretext that they want to arrange marriage at Bumborat of Kalash valley. Source said that they stayed in a local hotel and hotel owner was doubtful about their movement who informed local police and inter Service intelligence. But local police denied their visit of Kalash valley and they confirmed that these two Indian had entered Chitral but they have no legal documents and that is why Chitral police registered a case under 14 Foreigners Act against them and started further investigations. One of them frequently visiting Bunir district having some relatives their but his other colleague visited the area of Pakistan on first time police added. It is worth to mention that this is the first time that any Indian citizen entered Chitral without legal Documents. It is premature that either they are mere tourists or working for any foreign agency DPO Chitral said.
