Jammu, July 19 (Scoop News) -Describing the failure of Indo-Pak talks at Foreign Minister level, the chairman, SOS International – An Organisation for PoK Refugees, Rajiv Chuni said that the Indian government deliberately ignored the core issue of Pak occupied Kashmir, which is the bone of contention between the two countries and due to weak representation Pakistan Foreign Minister had insulted the entire country.
Addressing a press conference today at Jammu , Chuni said that Indian Foreign Minister, SM Krishna has not uttered a single word related to the vacation of Pak occupied Kashmir, which is illegally occupied by the Pakistan. He said that the Indian Parliament has unanimously passed a resolution for the vacation of Pak occupied Kashmir, which is in the illegal occupation of the Pakistan but the Foreign Minister and Indian government had forgotten the actual mandate of the people and beating about the bush in the talks held with Pakistan government.
He added that the Indian government had categorically denied to grant the status of Refugee on the plea that the Indian government would get the PoK area vacated from the illegal possession of Pakistan and restored to displaced people of PoK but entire Nation failed to understand that why not Indian Foreign Minister SM Krishna had uttered a single word related to vacation of PoK territory. He also slammed the entire opposition, which is busy in getting media hype to project themselves on the frivolous issues but the issue of PoK, which is in the greater interest of the Nation had been dejected by them too.
Taking the India government back about the resolution passed by Parliament, he said that Indian Parliament has unanimously passed a resolution that PoK is the integral part of the India, Indian government would strive hard to get the area vacated and be restored to PoK refugees. “But the India government has forgotten the parliament resolution and now drifted away from the actual agenda, core issue and only mandate of Parliament,” he added.
Avowing the prevailing conditions of PoK refugees, who are languishing in unhygienic and unplanned camps for last long 63 years, he said that India government as well as state government had several times assured that the PoK would be liberated from the illegal possession of Pakistan but the India government never raised the issue of liberation, which is a matter of great concern.
