Indira Gandhi remembered by Gujjjar Mahasabha

Jammu, October 31 (Scoop News)-A meeting of Akhil Bhartiyya Gujjar Mahasabha J&K Chapter was convened at Jammu to pay homage to Smt.Indira Gandhi. Mr Eshfaq-ur-Rehman Poswal  President of the Mahasabha paid rich tribute to her. Prominent Gujjar speakers who also spoke on the occasion including Ch.Abdul Qayom Provincial president , Ch.Alam Din , Ch.Bashir Ahmad etc. Valuable contribution made by Late Powerful National Leader ever produced by India Smt.Indira Gnadhi were remembered with great appreciation and regard. Her sterling qualities were highly lauded by one and all participants.

Her strong passion for upliftment of the Gujjar community who belonged to downtrodden and were leading wretched socio economic and political condition like opening of mobile schools, setting up of hostels for Gujjar students facilitating for their education , starting of Gojri news and programmes on Radio , Doordarshan , enducing J&K state Govt to declare Gujjar Community as S.T etc were remembered thankfully.

Participants felt vaccum caused due to demise of Indira Gandhi and prayed all mighty to replace her by some leader of the same stature and qualities.
