Srinagar, October 4 (Scoop News) – A group of influential persons today joined people’s democratic party (PDP). They include businessmen, youth and influential political and social activists. The group had a meeting with PDP patron Mufti Mohammed Sayeed and President Mehbooba Mufti at their residence and pledged their support and that of their colleagues to the party’s programme.
Those who joined the party come from various parts of city and represent different shades of opinion and professions.
Welcoming the group Mufti and Mehbooba told them about the PDP’s vision for the state with special reference to Srinagar city.
The prominent among the group are Adil Jan, Showkat Hussain, Parvez Ah Khan, Ab Rehman Bhat, Bilal Ahmed Mir, T K Padroo, Hilal Ahmed Bhat, Gh Mohd Mir, Syed Mushtaq Ahmed, Hafiz Rafiq Ahmed, Basharat Ahmed Maisuma.
