29 People have lost their lives due to influenza epidemic that has hit the remote area of Jajarkot in the rural Nepal. As per the reporting around 6000 patients were treated of seasonal flu. Though in the beginning due to the remote location of the area no health care were available but due to high coverage and priority of media the government has shown some concern towards the epidermic areas now.
According to government statistics, it was reported that 36 doctors were active in the 15 affected VDCs.
The death toll rate are rising in Jajarkot, the number of seasonal flu victims in neighboring districts are also increasing as well.
