Srinagar, December 10,(Scoop News)_Jammu Kashmir Mahaz-e-Azadi (MeA) leader, Muhammad Azam Inqilabi, Wednesday asked if Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, really believes in insaniyat and jamhoriyat he should re-read Bhagavad Gita.
In a press statement, Inqilabi said, “Modi talked of insaniyat and jamhoriyat in his Kashmir speech, if he really means it he should re-read Gita and see how Shri Krishan ji guided Pandav head Shri Arjun to fight for usurped rights against Kauravas.”
India, he said, as an “expansionist power usurped our right to self-determination and denied it by using military jackboots.”
He said Kashmiris are fighting like Shri Arjun and warriors of Badr and Balakote on the path of truth, justice and freedom.
“If Modi talks of jamhoriyat then he should allow referendum in Kashmir so that people here can decide their political future democratically,” he asked.
MeA patron said Modi also talks of Kashmiryat.
“Kashmiryat is all about monotheism and tasawwuf. Followers of monotheism don’t get awed by any modern day Pharaoh, Namrood, and Chengaz or Halaku.”
“Modi calls our Mujahedeen as terrorists but Kashmir Muslims have deep love and affection for mujahids”, Inqilabi said.
“If Modi preaches justice then he should award punishment to troops who are involved in Pathribal, Chattisinghpora, Handwara, Sopore, and Gawkadal incidents,” he added.
“What happened in Uri few days back was done by those warriors who have no understanding with Nawaz Sharief, King Abdullah and Ashraf Ghani. They came here on their own”.
There can be no surety that such things can’t happen again with more impulsion,” he said.
“India should take separatist leadership and Pakistan into confidence and start tripartite
talks for the resolution of Kashmir issue,” he said, adding this is the only way for guaranteeing long-lasting peace in South Asia.
