Interaction Associates Workshops Now Earn up to 24 Project Development Units for Project Management

San Francisco, CA — March 12, 2009— Interaction Associates, Inc. (IA) has announced that four of its popular workshops now offer Project Development Units (PDUs) through the Project Management Institute. This means that Project Management Professionals (PmPs) attending IA’s workshops may maintain their PMI certifications while developing important practical skills required to keep projects within budget, on time, and producing successful outcomes.

Three-day workshops Essential Facilitation® and Facilitative Leadership® each qualify Project Managers for up to 24 PDUs, while the two-day Mastering Meetings® offers up to 16 PDUs and one-day Basic Skills for Mastering Meetings workshops offers up to eight units.

Both Essential Facilitation® and Facilitative Leadership® are available through open registration throughout the year in Cambridge, MA and San Francisco, CA.

These IA workshops provide valuable training for professional project managers who are pursuing or maintaining the Project Management Professional (PMP®), certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI). PDUs are required by PMI in preparing for, or maintaining, a PMI certification.

"Our acclaimed two- and three-day learning events develop leaders and individual contributors to take a facilitative approach and collaborate better for extraordinary success in the workplace," Public Workshops Leader Beth O’Neill said. "Because the economy is uncertain, Project Management Professionals need to keep their skills sharp and their certifications up-to-date," O’Neill said.

An interactive calendar of open-enrollment workshops is available online here.

Facilitative Leadership® helps participants learn to tap the power of participation to maximize performance and employee satisfaction. Essential Facilitation® trains individuals to help groups reach agreement and take focused action through a variety of practical collaboration skills and methods.
