Invitation of foreign bomb experts unnecessary

Foreign experts declared that the bomb blast that ripped off some buildings in Glorietta complex in Makati City was not planted at all. Nor it was the handiwork of the Muslim terrorists now operating in southern Philippines.

With all this fuss, it is simply hard to fathom the depth as to how things are going on in this mind boggling incident, let alone the on-going political bickerings between the opposition block and the administration itself. Now, you will read in most Filipino newspapers in Southern California and even in most leading dailies in the country the boiling rift between Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita and DILG Secretary Puno.

What is puzzling about the blast issue in Makati City is the extent of intervention wherein foreign experts were called upon to investigate and find out as to whether the blast that killed at least eleven people was deliberately done as a means of undermining the government’s national security programs in place. Or was it deliberately planned to make it appear that the Philippines is on the verge of entering into the chaotic mood in order to declare another Martial Law. That is the question that bogs the minds of most people.
