Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Hassan Firouzabadi issued a stark warning to all those who support terrorism in the name of Islam – you will face “a harsh punishment.”
The Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Hassan Firouzabadi warned those countries which support terrorist groups under the name of Islam – you will face “a harsh punishment.”
Major General Hassan Firuzabadi is the highest-ranking member of Iranian military after the commander-in-chief, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
“Today the Zionists and their hirelings are acting against Islam and Muslims and some of their allies who have hidden behind the name of the anti-ISIL coalition are practically strengthening the ISIL,” Firouzabadi said in Tehran on Tuesday to a group of stunned reporters.
“The enemies of Islam have started a harsh game and they should prepare themselves for harsher punishments,” he added.
A note of caution here, the general is not a man to be trifled with or make such statements casually.
Note: While not mentioning the United States by name, sources inside the Iranian government say that General Firouzabadi is particularly “concerned” about the policy being pursued by President Obama and the United States of supporting various radicalized terrorist groups in Syria. Many of whom are accused of ghastly and horrific crimes against Shia and Iraqi Christians, including beheading, rape and torture of innocent women and children.
