According to published reports, IT Sourcing Europe has started its online IT Outsourcing Survey. This survey is made up of two parts – one questionnaire addresses the software development outsourcing firms and the other looks at companies that do not.
The IT Sourcing Europe IT Outsourcing survey looks at several factors:
- The factors driving companies to outsource software development and the challenges linked to offshore, nearshore outsourcing as well as problem solving.
- Determining the best method for software development outsourcing.
- Determining factors that keep firms from outsourcing their software development.
- Determining the conditions under which companies would outsource software development.
Currently, projects involving the best software development companies, ecommerce design companies and the best seo companies are being outsourced to favored Asian destinations like China, India, Philippines and Vietnam. India has dominated the offshore IT market for nearly two decades now and is expected to lead the market in the next ten years as well, according to analysts.
The survey targets decision-making managers of European firms who are responsible for the management of software development – outsourced or in-house IT resources.
The IT Sourcing Europe’s survey is linked to the European ITO market research. The results of the survey as industry aggregates in the “European IT Outsourcing Intelligence Report 2010, “ which is a more thorough study of the ITO demand, market trends and projections in Europe.
IT Sourcing Europe’s aim is that the European IT Outsourcing Survey 2010 will add value to the ITO research in Europe and will augment the awareness of rival behavior among European firms with respect to software and web development outsourcing. It would also give them an idea about good problem solving strategies. The survey is also aimed at assisting non-outsourcing European firms better understand software development that is outsource and make good decisions if they choose to outsource due to increased time in marketing and competition, web product quality and better software via decreased costs or to cut costs linked to operations.
