ITI employees extend support to JCC leaders

 JAMMU, Jan 5: Jammu and Kashmir ITI Employees United Front (Jammu), today called upon by JCC to discuss over the programmed three days “Kaam Chhor Hartal” call which has been given by its senior leaders Mohammad Gafoor Dar, Khursheed Alam and Abdul Qayoom Wani on 8 to 10 January this year for not implementing the agreement between Government and the leaders of JCC.

 ITI Front president Nazir Ahmed Molvi while addressing the meeting extended its full support to the JCC leaders for participating in the protest against the Government’s failure to concede demands of the state government employees. He also appealed to the all state employees of Technical Education Department both the Sectors ITI/Polytechnic to observe the programme and to participate in provincial rally on 10 January this year in front of Jammu Divisional Commissioner office at Panama Chowk.

Meanwhile, the leaders demanded enhancement of retirement age from 58 to o 68 years , regularization of Daily Rated Workers/Casual Need Base Worker, ITI trained DRW’s who have completed 7 years service , removal of pay anomalies of all cadre and settlement the grievances of Public Sector employees to grant budgetary support.
