It’s crime to be a gay in India

Homosexuality is a crime as per India Law. In a recent report, homosexuals in India states, "Whoever voluntarily has carnal intercourse against the order of nature with any man, woman or animal, shall be punished with imprisonment for life, or with imprisonment of either description for a term, which may extend to ten years and shall also be liable to fine."

The decision taken by the Union government has come as a huge setback to the gay community and the human rights groups supporting the cause. Section 377 of Indian Penal code, which considers homosexuality to be a criminal offense.

Homosexuals have always been most discussed topic in India and abroad. Rently there had been protest in support of this in delhi, India. And after a long discussion the Union Government come into the decision that it is crime to intercourse against the order or nature. Online the Indian film industry and some non-government organisations that have been fighting for Gay Community rights but no political party and government order has ever come in support of them and it has always been most discussed human right issue in India, and everywhere.
