Jacob Kobi Alexander Fights to Stay in Namibia and Avoid Fraud Charges

Israeli-born Jacob Kobi Alexander is in court fighting to stay in Namibia and avoid extradition to the United States for alleged fraud charges.  Jacob Kobi Alexander is wanted for his alleged plan for manipulate millions in stock options as CEO of Comverse Technologies. Jacob Kobi Alexander was arrested in 2006 and freed on $1.6 million in bail. 

Now Jacob Kobi Alexander has been fighting for 2 years to stay in Namibia, where he has a full life with him family. There he has invested $2.9 million in a real estate project, runs a $20,000 per year scholarship fund and in lives in a house valued at over $500,000 with his wife Hana and kids.

Jacob Kobi Alexander is 55. Jacob Kobi Alexander founded voicemail and communications company Comverse in 1982 with 3 employees, and grew it to a publicly traded company with over 5,000 employees before being accused of various types of fraud by the SEC.
