Srinagar, October 30 (Scoop News) -J&K Jamiat Himayat-i-Islam organized a seminar on the “Favours of Hazrat Shah Hamdan on Kashmiris” here today.
Moulana Shouqat Hussain Keng presided over the function whileas Prof. Mohammad Tayub Kamli, Moulana Rehmat-ullah Qasmi, Justice Bashir Kirmani, Farooq Ahmad Shah, Moulana Khursheed Kanoongo, Renzushah, Syed Shahid Bukhari, Syed Shakeel Qalandar and Moulana Mohammad Younis addressed the seminar.
The programme was anchored by Dr. Syed Abdul Majid Indrabi, HOD, Islamiat, Islamic University whileas Tilawat Qalami-i-Pak was recited by Er. Fayaz Ahmad Hamdani and Naat Sharief by Abdul Hassan Farooqi, Asar-i-Hazratbal.
Addressing the seminar, Syed Ghulam Nabi Kamli said that Kashmiris owe a lot to Shah-i-Hamdan Sahib for his real guidance and for imbibing a spirit of unity and brotherhood among the people. He said that Hamdani Sahib started his procession from the Shrine of Hazrat Bulbul Shah Sahib and spread message of Islam in nook and corner of the State.
Moulana Khursheed Kanoongo also addressed the seminar and highlighted the contribution of Shah-i-Hamdan in making the people well versed in various crafts and skills, resulting in progress and prosperity of the State. He expressed hope that the teachings of Hamdani Sahib shall remain alive in all times to come.
Director Information and Chairman Bulbulshah Trust, Khawaja Farooq Renzushah on this occasion said that Kashmir has been abode of peace, love and amity since times immemorial as Reshis, Sufis and Aulia Kirams have been preaching the teachings of Prophet Mohammad (SAW) and the basic principles of Islam to the people of the state. He said communal harmony and spirit of oneness is the gift of personalities like Hamdani Sahib and Hazrat Bulbulshah Sahib (RA).
He appreciated the management for organising the seminar.
