Jammu, April 30 (Scoop News) – Jammu Centre University Morcha (JCUM) leaders today said that no outsider including Kashmiri would be allowed to head the Jammu Central University and also other prestigious institutions of Jammu in future. They also appealed the people to come in strength to observe Jammu Bandh tomorrow..

. JCUM leaders clarified that their demand is not aimed to create any communal or regional wedge, but purely a demand of getting due share for Jammuties comprising of all shades, color’s and religions and appeal the people to beware of the nefarious designs of certain communal forces inimical to Jammu’s unity and strength.

Gearing up its campaign for mobilizing support for Jammu Bandh  on Saturday, JCUM leaders today conducted tour in open vehicles, throughout the city.They  appeal people in general, shopkeepers, traders and transporters in particular, to observe complete Bandh tomorrow  to express their solidarity with the cause for appointing local academician  as Vice-Chancellor of new Central University for Jammu.

  Addressing the gathering at different chowks of city, JCUM leaders lashed heavily upon Government of India and also their stooges in Jammu, who are instrumental in denigrating the Jammu’s position and consequently its political standing, thereby allowing the Kashmiri domination to come up and rule the roost. JCUM leaders who addressed the gathering included Udey Chand, Rajinder Jamwal,  Rampal Sharma, Capt. Anil Gaur, Sonu Sharma, Kuldeep Chib and Ram Rattan Raina.

 JCUM leaders threatened not only the government of India, but also the touts, enemy agents, stooges of Kashmiri and sycophants of New-Delhi, of dire consequences.. They thanked all those who are supporting Jammu Bahdh including BAR Association, Chamber of Commerce, Trader Organizations, different Sabhas and Transporters, for supporting the cause and Band call and hoped that they will continue to support till their demand, for getting the local Vice-Chancellor appointed to the new Central University, is met.

Meanwhile several political and social organizations including Panthers Party, JJSF, Nirbhao Nirvair Organisation, Bhai Khaniya Nishkame sewa society, All India Sikh Student Federation, Sikh Noujwan Sabha Jammu, Ishtri sudhar sabha Jammu, Sharomani youth Akali Dal J&K .have supported the Jammu Bamdh tomorrow.

JKNPP has decided to support the bandh call for tomorrow given by several political and social organizations demanding Jammuites as the Vice-Chairman of Jammu Central University.

The Panthers Party Chairman Prof. Bhim Singh counseled Panthers party workers throughout Jammu to support the bandh call actively and effectively.  The panthers party had urged upon the Prime Minister for his intervention to appoint Dogra Vice-Chancellor in the Jammu Central university to honour the aspirations and sentiments of the people of Jammu whose entity and identity stands threatened under the rulers since 1947.

Prof. Bhim Singh appealed to the people of Jammu to stand united for the sake of coming generations of the great Dogras who have made unprecedented sacrifices to establish the State of Jammu and Kashmir JJSF has unanimously decided to extend whole hearted support for  Jammu Bandh Call, tomorrow by Jammu Central University Morcha (JCUM) for appointment of local Vice-chancellor for the new central University at Jammu.

      JJSF while seeking support for Jammu Bandh appealed all Jammuities cutting across party or religion lines, to support and observe complete bandh tomorrow so that anit-Jammu forces acting at the behest of their mentor could be given a befitting reply. JJSF appreciated the role and unity exhibited by Jammu people on all occasions wherever such need arises and reminded them of their relentless efforts in the past for protecting and defending the pride of Jammu with the appeal their benign support is solicited for this issue of more prestige than its standing or status.

      JJSF feels that traitors from within and outside are required to be dealt  sternly so that it should act  as deterrent for others conspiring against Jammu. JJSF issued warning to all those who are in competition to extend congratulations and eulogize their masters, unmindful of the popular sentiments of Jammu and said that these miscreants, for their petty interests, have always weakened the Jammu cause and observed that they deserves to be exposed.

      JJSF also clarified to its cadre that Jammu cause is at supreme and we would continue to extend support and participate actively wherever cause of Jammu is involved. The meeting directed all its members to come in strength and support Jammu Bandh, despite the examinations is in full serving.

      JJSF has viewed very seriously the silence and role of political parties and elected representatives except MPs of Jammu and said that these parties, including those claiming to be the champions of Jammu like BJP, has once again proved failure and exposed themselves. JJSF asked these parties MLA’s to clear their stand on the issue and support, which otherwise was to be highlighted by them. 
 

Various Sikh Organisation leaders said that the vice chancellor for new Jammu central university should be a local.They also extended full support to the Jammu Central university Morcha.
