Janmashtami

<p>Janmashtami festival is being celebrated throughout India.Lord Krishna birthday celebration is called Janmashtami .Janmashtami will be on 3 September 2007.Every year Janmashtami falls either in the month of August or in the month of September.</p>
<p>Lord Krishna was born to Devaki and Vasudeva in a prison at Mathura,India.King Kans the brother of Devaki had imprisoned Devaki and her husband Vasudeva because it was predicted that the eight child of Devaki would kill him.When Lord Krishna was born then all persons who were standing&nbsp; with weapons at the gate of&nbsp;jail were slept and automatically&nbsp;jail gate was opened .This was happened because of God power.Then Vasudeva father of Lord Krishna succeeded in taking his son Lord Krishna away from the prison on a stormy night across the Yamuna river to Gokul place where Lord Krishna grew up in the care of Yashoda mother and Nanda father who were not real mother and father but given lots of love to Lord Krishna.When Lord Krishna grew up he killed King Kans and free his real mother Devaki and father Vasudeva from King Kans prison.</p>
<p>Raas Leela performances replay incidents of his bravery as well as his mischief.On Janmashtami , temples are lit, a silver cradle is decorated and an idol of Lord Krishna is placed within and prayers are performed.This go on till midnight,the time Lord Krishna was born.Many people celebrating Janmashtami in their houses.In my house is also decorated and celebrated Janmashtami .In the midnight my family worship Lord Krishna.My family inviting all his friends for singing prayers of Lord Krishna in the midnight.</p>
