Japanese delegation calls on JK Minister

Srinagar, June 13 (Scoop News) –A 2–member Japanese delegation led by Minister of Political Affairs at the Embassy of Japan,  Takeshi Osuga and Second Secretary,  Rytotaro Fujita called on Minister for Social Welfare Ms. Sakina Itoo here today.

During the interaction both sides expressed warm greetings and discussed wide range of issues related to social service and welfare schemes launched in the State. Other welfare programmes came under discussions.

Ms. Sakina apprised the delegation about the various schemes presently in vogue in J&K and their implementation and progress. Special focus of discussions remained on rehabilitation of militancy victims, orphans, destitute and women empowerment.

The visiting delegation expressed their willingness to cooperate with the India and J&K State in sharing their experience and technological know.
