Samba, October 13, (Scoop News)- Minister of State for Science and Technology (Independent Charges), Earth Sciences (Independent Charge), PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Department of Atomic Energy and Department of Space, Government of India, Dr Jitendra Singh today visited temporary shelter camps established by administration in districts Samba and Kathua.
He along with others visited temporary shelter camps established at Nonath and Narsing Temple in samba and Kootah and Hiranagar area in Kathua district for accommodating the families affected due to border firing in where People apprised Singh about various demands and problems being faced by them viz special recruitment drive for border Youth, Toilet facilities for border areas, 5 marla plot for border residents, cattle problems, etc.
Singh listened the grievances and demands patiently and assured them that their demands will be fulfilled and grievances redressed at the earliest.
