Jammu,India,April 15 (Scoop News) – Jammu Central University Morcha (JCUM) warned the Government of India not to play with the sentiments of Jammuities and it should not be pawn in the hands of few self serving forces having sinister design unmindful of the security or sovereignty of the Country and also the regional aspiration and interest of the people.
A meeting of Jammu Central University Morcha (JCUM) was held in Jammu today to discuss and chalk out future strategy,accelerates the agitation launched for appointment of local Vice Chancellor for Jammu Central University. , The participants who attended the meeting were Rajinder Jamwal President (PRM), Udhay Chand, President (DPP), Ram Rattan Raina (Sangram Saina), Kapil Ji (DLF), Rajeev Chuni, President (SOS International), Jaisel Singh Slathia (Surya Gram Mandal), Kuldeep Chib (Chairman JJSF), Capt. Anil Gaur (JSM), Sonu Sharma, M.P Singh Pandu (Student and Scholar Joint Action Committee) attended the meeting.
The participants discussed in detail about the progress of the agitation launched, and also the role of the forces against the Jammu interest and unanimously resolve to fight out and expose those forces who are inimical and are already on watch to plunder and spoil the cause of Jammu. In a clear signal, to these anti Jammu forces who otherwise create euphoria just to exploit and encash the sentiments of Jammuities but are the greatest enemy and leave no stone unturned to torn and spoil the sacred cause of Jammu.
The JCUM issued a fervent appeal to the Jammuities not to be misled and get swade by these sloganeering forces but rather should come forward to project and support this strategically important issue which would have broader and prospective implications on the generation to come.
The meeting further observed that Jammu is not a colony either for Kashmir or any outsider and it too has its regional urge and aspiration as provided in the Constitution and people with nefarious designs cannot be allowed to meddle in the genuine aspirations as well as urges of the people and it is high time when Govt. of India would act wisely and appoint local Vice Chancellor from Jammu and set up President for encouraging and propagating local talent.
It was unanimously decided to launch signature campaign at different places, corner meetings, protest demonstration at different places, issuing questionnaire to different political parties and M.L.A’s , M.P’s regarding their reaction and support to the demand before going in for other alternate resolves including Bandh.
