Jesus’ Birth Is The Reason For Christmas

The Christmas Season is approaching and I wanted to provide a Children’s Poem for them. May you and yours have a blessed Christmas Season filled with faith, hope and happiness, and I wish for all “God’s richest blessings as people celebrate Jesus’ birth during this cheerful season!”

Poetry From The Heart

Santa’s preparing to come real soon
makes sure the sleigh’s got lots of room.
Reindeers groomed and readied to fly
through the air to homes far and wide.
Elves toil designing creations of toys
must have enough for girls and boys.

Mrs. Santa prepares meals to please
Santa and elves need food as they leave.
Santa’s boots are polished to shine
like a glinting star faraway in the sky.
Toys are packed and tied to the sleigh
cannot risk a loss of goodies on the way.

Angels keep watch of beautiful gifts
as Santa bids Reindeers to get hitched.
Elves decorate them in bows of tints
buffs their hoofs until they glint
Mrs. Santa makes a terrible fuss
ensuring the sleigh has no dust.

She and Santa dance round and round
glad Santa’s ready for smiles in towns.
Droopy finds a place to ride…
aspires to spring out and offer a surprise.
Santa’s bag is packed to the brim
readied for the first stop to begin.

Santa beckons reindeers, elves and others
to bow all heads in prayer for one another.
There’s a long hard trip in the making
watch as every child shares in the blessing.
Santa jumps aboard and grabs the reins
whispers words of different names.

Off they zoom in the air…
a soaring eagle with a flair
Santa’s laugh is boisterous, a ringing jolly
knows Jesus’ birth is the celebration for this joy.
A baby boy was born in Bethlehem long ago…
His name is Jesus…His name is Jesus.
