JI and Trade Union Protested against Custom squad

JI and Trade Union protest rally and public meeting against Chitral Customs.
CHITRAL:  Jamati Islami Chitral chapter and trade Union jointly protested against brutally attitude of Customs staff at Chitral. They arranged a protest rally after Friday prayer, which was converted in a protest public meeting.  The protest rally was leading by former Member National Assembly from Chitral Maulana Abdul Akbar Chitrali, Amir Jamati Islami Chitral chapter and former MPA Maulana Ghulam Muhammad and Habib Hussain Mughul president trade union Chitral. The protest rally was converted in a public meeting at PIA Square where Maulana Abdul Akbar Chitrali former MNA, Maulana Ghulam Muhammad former MPA and Habib Hussain President Trade Union Chitral delivered speeches to the public meeting.

They said that we are peaceful citizen but we are plunging in war under a proper conspiracy they alleged. They warned if Chitrali people were harassed unnecessarily they will be compelled for taking strict action like suicide bombing and creation of militants. They strongly demanded for early releasing of those vehicles seized by Customs and other agencies that are still under their posses of them at Mirkhani Check point. They also demanded for closing Custom office at Mirkhani Chitral because Chitral is a tax free zone and people of the area are backward. While Customs squad harassing the people unnecessarily they alleged.  They urged for opening continue Arandu road via Kunar (Afghanistan) throughout the season for passengers as well as for merchandise. They issued Fitwa that casting of vote in favor of PML Q and PPP S are banned as per Islamic rules. Because they supporting a cruel ruler. They demanded from the federal government and Governor NWFP to bound our civil and armed forces for protection of borders and limited them upto their barracks. It is worth to mention here that some 15 vehicles were seized at Mirkhani Check post carrying cooking oil and Ghee from Pak Afghan border to Chitral as the only land route to Chitral have been blocked due to heavy snowfall. Custom squad took these vehicles in posses while Ghee were forfeited by them. The protest rally and procession was peacefully dispersed.
