Srinagar,December 04 (Scoop News) –Advisor to Chief Minister Mubark Gul today said that students of valley have great talent and potential to compete at national and international levels.
Gul was addressing at Government Boys Higher Secondary School Nawakadal during an inter School Environment Painting Competition. The competition was organized by J&K Rural Development Society in which students of various schools participated.
Gul said that the number of students throughout State have proven their potential by cracking national level exams besides, qualifying other competitive exams at State level.
He advised the students to put in hard work to qualify the competitive exams at State as well as national level which would enable them to achieve their goal.
He urged the students to take part in extracurricular activities which are necessary for their all round development besides, ensuring their sound health.
He appreciated the participants for environment related paintings made by them and stressed upon them to keep the environment of their schools and areas clean and make people aware about the preservation and cleanliness of environment.
Gul gave away prizes to Nafeesa, Sana and Mohammad Shoiab who bagged Ist, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively in the painting competition
Among others Principal Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School Nawakadal, Abdul Rashid Dar and other citizens of the area were also present
Later, Gul visited Palpora area of his constituency and took stock of various ongoing developmental works in Palpora and adjoining areas.
During his visit several deputations called on the Advisor and put forth various issues pertaining to day to day life in the area. Gul assured them that their genuine demands would be addressed on priority basis.
