Srinagar, February 06 (Scoop News) – Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Sunday visited Dargah Hazartbal here to take stock of the arrangements put in place to facilitate the smooth celebrations of Eid-i_-Milad- Un-Nabi (SAW) and provide better facilities for devotees.
The Chief Minister who is also Chairman of Waqaf Board inspected the constructions and repair works presently going on in the shrine complex. He directed the Jammu and Kashmir Waqaf Board to ensure time line completion of works so that the Illumination Project approved for the holy complex starts as per schedule.
The Chief Minister directed the administration for ensuring adequate transport, water supply, and electricity and health care facilities to the zaireen during the holy days.
Omar Abdullah also paid obeisance at the Dargah and prayed for the peace and prosperity of the State, and well being of the people.
The Director General Police, Vice Chairman Waqaf Board, Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir and senior officers were accompanying the Chief Minister.
