Srinagar,September 13, (Scoop News)- An all-party meeting convened by Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today held deliberations on the relief and rehabilitation operations being carried out across the state.
The meeting was attended by Mehbooba Mufti, Mohammed Yousef Tarigami, Saifudin Soz, Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo, Hakim Mohammad Yaseen, Ghulam Hassan Mir, Nazir Ahmed Wani.
The meeting expressed deep condolence over the loss of precious lives in the unprecedented floods, which have struck the state.
The Political parties also expressed deep sympathies with those injured and displaced due to the floods & those who suffered on account of the calamity. All parties expressed complete solidarity with the flood affected people & families and resolved to rebuilt lives, livelihood and public infrastructure.
They also conveyed appreciation for the support extended to the state by the Government of India & its agencies including the Army , Air force, NDRF & others in this hour of crisis.
While appreciating the contributions of civil society organizations , NGO’s self-help Groups, individuals & other stake holders, the political parties appealed to individuals and organizations within & outside the state to come forward to help the people of the state in every possible way.
