Srinagar,March 5 (Scoop News)- The Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, arrived from Jammu on the occasion of Friday following Eid-i-Milad(SAW) and offered prayers at Dargah Hazratbal. He joined lakhs of devotees who also offered prayers and had holy Deedar of holy Moi-e-Muqadas(SAW) at Hazratbal.

Today not only the space inside mosque but all the storeys of the holy shrine were full of people besides the lawns on the front and back side were filled with sea of devotees.

During the five days of Eid-e-Milad, people remain engrossed in ‘Darood-U-Azkar’.
The Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah today amidst lakhs of people remained for hours at the Dargah Sharief till the Deedar of Moi-Sharief (SAW) and Darood-U-Azkar’ completed.
He prayed for the peace and tranquility of the State.
The divisional administration and the district administration on the instructions of the Chief Minister had made adequate arrangements for devotees during Eid-i-Milad un Nabi (SAW) days for the convenience of the people.
‘ The concerned departments had made adequate arrangements for the smooth flow of traffic, availability of buses, medical camps, drinking water, uninterrupted electric supply, sanitation and maintenance of roads during the Edi-e-Milad (SAW) celebrations.
Vice Chairman Auqaf in his address appreciated the departments included divisional administration, police, traffic, PHE, PDD, Information, Tourism, CA &PD for making foolproof arrangements during these holy days.
