As soon as the Chief Minister was leaving the Secretariat in the evening, the surrendered militant along with his wife and a child tried to stop the motorcade of Omar Abdullah. On seeing them, the Chief Minister directed the accompanying officials to bring them to his official residence for hearing their grievances.
They were given a patient hearing on the issues raised by them.
The surrendered militant, who had received training in Pak, had laid down his arms in 1990 at Darhal in Rajouri District. He is presently living in
