Jammu,September 5 (Scoop News) -The Deputy Chief Minister, Tara Chand on Sunday said that massive developmental programmes have been launched across the state, the impact of which is becoming visible. He said that the present government is fully committed for all round development of the state and with active support of the people who had given mandate to the coalition government the government will complete its full term.
“The government has full faith in the policies it was a pursuing to meet the developmental and social aspirations of the people” Tara Chand said while giving a resume of various mega projects taken up across the state.
The Deputy Chief Minister was addressing a gathering after inaugurating a Milk Collection Centre at Gigrial. Minister for Cooperatives, Dr Manohar Lal Sharma was also present on the occasion.

Seeking the cooperation of the people, he said the involvement of people at every stage of development was imperative to achieve tangible results adding that the public support can be achieved only by pursing policies which will meet aspiration of every section of the society.

Referring to the milk collection centre, Deputy CM said that the setting up of the milk collection centre in the area will go a long way in improving the socoi-economic condition of the people. He said the main aim of setting up such collection centers was to maintain quality of milk and save milk producers from middlemen. He said the facility will also save milkmen from travelling to far off areas to sell their product.

He said that the milk at the newly setup centre will be tested through electronic machine and payment will be made according to the quality of milk.Reacting to the allegation of overcharging by fertilizer dealers, he directed Tehsildar to conduct enquiry and anybody found guilty will be punished.
