J&K encounter continues
India – Srinagar: On Monday in Jammu and Kashmir a gunbattle continue between security forces and militants for the second day.
On Sunday the security forces perform search operations in Aglar-Kandi village in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir which is 50 kms from Srinagar, at the time some militants belongs to the Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) terrorist group, opened fire in a house.
The nation’s security force also started the encounter against the militants and was still continuing and efforts are on to neturalise the militants. The official source confirms a JeM militant was killed and an army officer was injured in the gunfight. The injured Army Captain in the encounter shifted to the Srinagar army base camp.
