JK Finance Minister tables ordinance NO: 1-2011 in Assembly

Jammu, March 12 (Scoop News) – The Minister for Finance and Ladakh Affairs  A. R. Rather today placed on the table of the House a copy of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services( Special Provisions Amendment) ordinance, 2011 (ordinance No-1 2011), as required under Section 91 the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to this ordinance, the Empowerment Committee shall not entertain any case of adhoc, contractual and consolidated appointee after the expiry of period specified in sub- section (2) .i.e. beyond January 31, 2011. 

Pakherpora Imam released: Sagar

Jammu March 12- Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs Mr. Ali Mohammad Sagar informed the House today that the Imam of Pakherpora was called for questioning by the police and released immediately.

            The issue was raised by Syed Bashir Ahmed today in the Legislative Assembly.
