J&K Governor, CM,Dy CM greets people on Ramzan-ul-Mubarak

 

Srinagar, August 11 (Scoop News) – The Governor,  N. N. Vohra, has greeted the people on the commencement of the holy month of Ramzan and hoped that this auspicious occasion would be a harbinger of peace, amity, communal harmony, brotherhood, progress and prosperity in the State.

In a message, the Governor said that the holy month of Ramzan is a period dedicated to fasting, service and prayers and highlights the values of patience, self-restraint, tolerance and austerity, which promote feelings of compassion and respect for others.

The Governor prayed for the immediate restoration of normalcy and well being of the people of the State.

 

         Chief Minister,  Omar Abdullah in his Ramdhan message has described the holy month as time for seeking forgiveness from Allah. He said the month of Ramdhan teaches us compassion and generosity towards the common people especially poor and needy.

             Omar Abdullah while wishing well being of the people and prosperity to the State expressed hope that the  holy month will usher in peace and normalcy in the State.

 

Deputy Chief Minister, Tara Chand has also greeted the people of state especially Muslim brethren on the commencement of the holy month of Ramadan.

            In a message, the Deputy Chief Minister said that the sacred month is ideal occasion for reforming inner self and committing to the path of virtue and righteousness. He prayed that the holy month will prove to be the harbinger of peace and normalcy in the state.

 

         Meanwhile Members of Kashmiri Pandit Sangarsh Samiti on behalf of the Samiti and the Kashmiri Pandits living in the Valley wishes the Kashmiri Muslim Brethren on the eve of Holy Month of Ramdan. In a message, President,KPSS,Sanjay K. Tickoo said that May this Holy Month bring peace and tranquility to this region of the World.
