JK Governor, First Lady celebrate Holi with children

Jammu, March 07 (Scoop News) –      N. N. Vohra, Governor, and Mrs. Usha Vohra, First Lady, celebrated Holi, the festival of colours, with staff of the Governor’s Secretariat and their children and families at a Holi Milan function held at the magnificent Raj Bhavan lawns here today.

            The event made the auspicious occasion a memorable one for the participants, particularly the young children.

            The Governor, and the Lady Governor, extended Holi greetings to all the revelers assembled on the occasion and offered sweets to them. The Governor and the First Lady mixed with the children and enquired about their studies, advised them to work hard and wished them a bright future ahead. They also interacted with all members of staff of the Governor’s Secretariat and their families and posed for photographs with them. They wished all of them good health and happiness.

          The Governor on the occasion, prayed for sustained peace, harmony, progress and prosperity in the State.

 Navin Kumar Choudhary, Principal Secretary to the Governor, was present on the occasion.
