JK Governor,CM express grief over Bhaderwah road accident

 

 Jammu, December 17 (Scoop News) – JK Governor NN Vohra and JK CM Omar Abdulla expressed grief over loss of innocent lives in Bhadarwah road accident on Sunday evening.

  N. N. Vohra, Governor, has expressed grief over the loss of lives in a tragic road accident in Bhadarwah area of Doda district last evening.

In his message, the Governor has conveyed his sympathy to the bereaved families and hoped that those injured are receiving the best possible medical attention.

The Governor expressed deep concern and dismay over the recurring loss of lives from sustained road accidents in certain areas of the State. In this context, he recalled the important discussions held at Raj Bhavan with key experts from the Government of India, several months ago. The Governor hoped that the DGP shall urgently enforce the strictest possible measures to reduce the incidence of tragic accidents.

           Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah has expressed grief over the loss of lives in a road accident on Jai Road in Bhaderwah.

            In his condolence message, the Chief Minister expressed sympathy with the bereaved family and prayed for early recovery of the injured.

            Chief Minister directed the district administration for providing all required medicare facilities to the injured.

It may be mentioned here that nine t persons were killed when a vehicle, they were traveling in, rolled down into deep gorge near Bhaderwah In a tragic accident on Sunday evening. The ill-fated Winger bearing registration number JK02AR-9411 was on its way from Bhaderwah to Chinta when it met with accident at Renda in Doda district.

 

Meanwhile Nineteen children were injured in a collision involving two school buses on Jammu-Panthankote national highway.

The students were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, they said, adding that none of them were seriously injured
