JK Governor,CM expresses grief over Reasi road accident

Srinagar, September 21 (Scoop News)- JK Governor, N. N. Vohra and Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah expressed grief over Reasi road accident in which nine persons dead and twenty one others injured near Panasa Gali in Reasi district on Friday

N. N. Vohra, Governor, has expressed grief over the loss of precious human lives in a tragic road accident near Arnas in Reasi district last evening.
In his message, the Governor has conveyed his sympathy to the bereaved families and prayed for speedy recovery of all those injured in this accident.

Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah has expressed deep grief over the unfortunate road accident in Reasi in which precious human lives have been lost and many injured.
In his condolence message to the bereaved families, the Chief Minister has expressed solidarity with them and conveyed his sympathies. He also prayed for peace to the departed souls.
Minister of State for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation, Ajaz Ahmed Khan has expressed deep shock and grief over the loss of precious lives in a road accident which occurred at Pasana, Reasi this evening.
The Minister directed the Divisional and District administrations of Jammu to provide immediate relief to the injured. He expressed his heartfelt sympathies with the families whose kin were killed in the accident.

It may be mentioned here that in a tragic accident in Jammu division nine persons dead and twenty one others injured near Panasa Gali in Reasi district on Friday. Nine persons were killed when a minibus, on way to Panasa village from Reasi town, skidded off the road and fell into deep gorge.
The deceased were identified as Baldev Singh resident of Tloti, Sunil resident of Dharan, Raj Kuamar , Gulzar Ahmed , Israel, Guddu Devi, Sheeta Devi, Praba Devi and Lakshmi Devi, all were resident of Panasa.

Meanwhile Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senior leader and MLA Lolab Abdul Haq Khan has lambasted the government over the pathetic conditions of roads in Lolab Constituency particularly in Machill area resulting in five deaths recently.
Visiting the area MLA Ab Haq Khan today said that the road where accident took place is very narrow and in dilapidated condition and the beacon authorities besides frequent pleas for its repair and widening are having deaf ear on our requests.
MLA Lolab also criticized the government for its failure in providing adequate compensation to the victims and said that the compensation cannot repair the loss but would enable them to have some kind of relief. He demanded for immediate construction of tunnel on Kupwara Machill road in order to make the huge population of Machill all season accessible to other parts of the country.
Ab Haq khan also met the SSP Kupwara and urged him to register the criminal case against the Beacon authority against their negligence due to which precious lives were lost due to tragic road accident at Z- Morh Machill.
