JK Governor,CM,DY CM,Ministers,other leaders greet people on Eid-ul-Fitr

Srinagar/Jammu, August 08 (Scoop News)- J&K Governor, N. N. Vohra, Chief Minster,Omar Abdulla, DY CM , Tara Chand, Council of Ministers and other leaders of political parties have greeted people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

N. N. Vohra, Governor, has conveyed warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the joyous and auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
In a message of felicitations, the Governor expressed the hope that this auspicious occasion would be the harbinger of peace, progress, prosperity and happiness and would strengthen the bonds of communal harmony, brotherhood and amity, which are the hallmarks of J&K’s glorious pluralistic traditions.
The Governor prayed for the well-being of the people of the State.

SRINAGAR, August 08 – Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah has felicitated people on Eid-ul-Fitr wishing them well-being and prosperity.
In his greetings message on the holy occasion, the Chief Minister highlighted the essence of Eid and said that this Day is to address the needs of poor and share Eid-bliss with them.
Omar Abdullah said that the spirit behind the observance of Eid-ul-Fitr is to express our thanks to Almighty Allah for giving us the courage to observe fast in the month of Ramdhan and rededicate ourselves to the path of truthfulness, sincerity, self-control, patience and human dignity.
The Chief Minister prayed for peace and prosperity and wished the Eid be harbinger for all round development in the State and the Country. He also hoped that this holy occasion would strengthen the bonds of communal harmony, brotherhood and amity.

Deputy Chief Minister, Tara Chand has greeted the people of the State on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
In his messages, he hoped that this auspicious occasion would further strengthen the bonds of communal harmony and brotherhood and usher the state into a period of sustained peace, progress and prosperity. He also prayed for the well-being of the people of the state.

Meanwhile, the Speaker also extended Eid greetings to the people of the State on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, hoping that the festival would further strengthened the bonds of communal harmony and brotherhood and be a harbinger of amity, peace, progress and prosperity in the state. He also prayed for the well-being for people of the state.
Chairman, J&K Legislative Council, Amrit Malhotra has extended his greetings to the people of the State, particularly Muslim brethren, on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
In a felicitation message, the Chairman asked Muslim brethren dot not forget needy and destitute sections of the society and extend helping hand towards them while celebrating the Eid. He appealed them to pray for peace, prosperity and welfare of State while offering Eid prayers.
Malhotra said the month of Ramadhan teaches us the lesson of compassionate, equality and tolerance, adding that our common objective must be to work for economic development of destitute and weaker sections of the society.

The Cabinet Ministers have extended greetings to the people of the state on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
In their separate felicitation messages, they extended their greeting saying that the festival would be harbinger of peace, prosperity and happiness for the people of State in particular and Country in general. They hoped that the festival will further cement the bonds of love, amity, brotherhood and communal harmony which are the vital characteristics of pluralistic ethos of the state.
The Ministers include Minister for Finance and Ladakh Affairs Abdul Rahim Rather, Minister for Rural Development Department Ali Mohammad Sagar, Minister for Enterprises, Haj, Auqaf and Floriculture Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed, Minister for Forests Mian Altaf Ahmad, Minister for Agriculture Ghulam Hassan Mir, Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control Sham Lal Sharma, Minister for Higher Education Mohammad Akbar Lone, Minister for Medical Education, Youth Services and Sports Taj Mohi-ud-Din, Minister for Urban Development and Local Bodies Nawang Rigzin Jora, Minister for Roads & Buildings and Mechanical Engineering Abdul Majid Wani, Minister for CA&PD and Transport Choudhary Mohammad Ramzan, Minister for Tourism Ghulam Ahmad Mir, Minister for Planning and Labour Ajay Sadhotra, Minister for Housing and Horticulture, Raman Bhalla, Minister for Social Welfare Sakina Ittoo and Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Mir Saifullah .
Likewise, Minister of State for Cooperatives Dr. Manohar Lal Sharma, Minister of State for Home, Industries and Commerce Sajjad Ahmad Kichloo, Minister of State for Health Shabir Ahmad Khan, Minister of State for Information and Technical Education Vikar Rasool, Minister of State for Revenue Aijaz Ahmad Khan, Minister of State for Animal and Sheep Husbandry Nazir Ahmad Gurezi and Minister of State for Science & Technology and School Education Feroz Ahmad Khan have also greeted people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
Legislators M.Y .Tarigami , Hakeem Mohammad Yasin and Aga Syed Rohlla have also felicitated people of the state on the auspicious day of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Peoples Democratic Party Patron Mufti Mohammed Sayeed and President Mehbooba Mufti greeted people of Jammu & Kashmir on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
Wishing all ‘Eid Mubarak’, Mufti said the festival “brings joy and happiness on the conclusion of the month of Holy Ramadan, a period of fasting, prayer and charity.” The festival reminds us of our duties towards the poor and downtrodden as well as the need for charity and generosity towards all,” he said.
“May this festival strengthen mutual goodwill and inspire each one of us to follow the path of love, friendship, harmony and peace” Mufti prayed.
President PDP Mehbooba Mufti said “The fasting observed during Ramadan reaffirms the spirit of charity and generosity and highlights the feelings of empathy.” She said the celebrations marking the end of the Ramadan fasting foster peace and harmony and reflect the true spirit of our composite culture. “May this festival unite all humanity in a common bond of understanding and inspire us all to work tirelessly towards building a harmonious, peaceful and prosperous society,” she prayed.

The Director General of Police Ashok Prasad and Director General of Prisons, K. Rajendra have felicitated the people and all ranks of Jammu and Kashmir Police and Prisons on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
In separate messages of greeting, they hoped that the auspicious occasion would further strengthen the bonds of communal harmony, brotherhood and amity and will be harbinger of peace, progress and prosperity of the State.
On this occasion, Prasad prayed for the wellbeing and happiness of the people of the State.
Similarly, Rajendra also hoped that the Eid festival will usher an era of peace and prosperity in state and strengthen the bonds of love and amity among different sections of the society.

Inspector General of Police Kashmir, Sh. A. G. Mir has felicitated all people of Kashmir, police personnel and their families, on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr. IGP in his message has said that, let the Eid bring peace and prosperity to all in general and valley in particular.

Chinar Corps wishes harmony, good health and prosperity to the Awam of Kashmir Valley on the auspicious occasion of Eid ul Fitr.
Lt Gen Gurmit Singh, Chinar Corps Commander, while extending good wishes for Eid conveyed that “with devotion in mind, I send this message of felicitation on the day of Eid-Ul-Fitr (Ramazan Festival), the day being celebrated to mark the month of the manifestation of Holy Quran, the blessed guideline that shows the way for a peaceful living with equality and co-existence”. He further prayed that may Allah give us all the power and courage to sustain the existing peace in the Kashmir Valley and create the environment of growth and success for our future generations. He wished peace to continue in the Valley. He also conveyed greetings to all members of the Defence Establishment and their families.

The Hony General Secretary of Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu & Kashmir State, Ms. Roma Wani stressed to address the needs of poor on eve of Eid-Ul fitar.
In her greetings message on the holy occasion, She said “May this festival strengthen mutual goodwill and inspire each one of us to follow the path of love, friendship, harmony and peace”
