Jammu, April 09 (Scoop News) – The State Cabinet which met here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, among other things, approved implementation of National Population Register(NPR) Project in Jammu and Kashmir in place of Aadhar Project.
The Cabinet also approved revised incentives for tourism as an Industry, besides selection of Patwar Trainees through J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examination (BOPE) with the modifications that the examinations will be conducted by the BOPE at the district level by associating the concerned Deputy Commissioner and making selection in accordance with the reservation rules.
Meanwhile, the Cabinet also approved Transfer of state land measuring 192 Kanals and 34 marlas under Khasra No 169/172/411/1013/412, situated in estates Namble Narkara and Hamchipora of Tehsils Budgam and Khag respectively of District Budgam, in favour of Sher-e- Kashmir University of Agriculture Science and Technology, Shalimar Srinagar for establishment of Krishi Vigyan Kendra. It also approved Transfer of land measuring 300 Kanals and 05 marlas situated in villages Hrudubani, Lalpora and Mangloora of Tehsil Tangmarg, District Baramulla, for establishment of Krishi Vigyan Kendra .
Similarly, the Cabinet also approved transfer of state land measuring 362 Kanal and 13 marlas for construction of Krishi Vigyan Kendra at village Marta and construction of residential quarters for employees of Krishi Vigyan Kendra in village Ramnagr, Tehsil Ramnagar, district Udhampur.
