JK Minister lauds BSF for guarding borders, maintaining law & order

 

 

      Srinagar, October 20 (Scoop News) –    Minister for PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control,  Taj Mohi ud Din has lauded the contribution of Border Security Forces (BSF) in guarding the borders of the country and helping the civil administration in maintain law and order.

      Addressing the attestation parade of newly recruited constables, the Minister asked them to shoulder the responsibilities placed on them and live up to the name of the organization. He congratulated the constables, their families and officers of the force on the occasion.

      In all, 339 recruits from different parts of the country passed out today from the Subsidiary Training Centre (STC), Humhama after undergoing 38 weeks rigorous training. 

      On the occasion, the Minister took salute on the march past and gave away prizes to outstanding constables.

      Deputy Commissioner, Budgam,  Mohammad Rafi, SSP, Budgam,  Uttam Chand, Chief Engineer, Irrigation & Flood Control, Kashmir,  A. R. Shola and other senior officers of State Government and BSF were present on the occasion.

      Earlier, on his arrival at the STC, the Minister was received by Inspector General, BSF,  Anil Kamboj amidst ceremonial reception.
