Jammu, February 22 (Scoop News) – Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation, Raman Bhalla and Minister of State for Revenue and Tourism, Nasir Aslam Wani today visited Jagti and inspected the status of work on the infrastructure and residential buildings developed at the township, which are nearing completion.
Secretary Revenue, Ejaz Iqbal, Relief Commissioner (M) Vinod Koul, besides other senior officers of Revenue and Relief accompanied the Ministers.
Bhalla asked the executing agency to complete all the development works of township like blacktopping of approached roads, over head tanks, parks, schools, play field hospital, lanes, drains, tube wells etc well before March 05, 2011 in double shifts. The Ministers went around the township where 4218 flats, besides all facilities involving Rs. 385 crore has been developed for the rehabilitation of the Kashmiri migrants .
The Minister asked the executing agencies to accelerate white wash, paint, glass, wooden, sanitary and electricity fitting works to ensure completion within the stipulated time.
