The Director General of Police (DGP), Kuldeep Khoda was the Chief Guest at the function. In his address he said that
Khoda said that the ongoing singing competition has been started from district level in January after identifying the talent from far-flung areas of various districts across the State. He said that after competing the district and range level competitions, the performers are trying their luck for their entrance in the State Level Competition which would be held soon to select the best signers of the State. The DGP appreciated the performers and stressed upon them to continue their attempts and refine their talent which is mandatory to achieve higher success. He said the Police Organization will always provide helping hand to encourage the budding artists in the State. He also thanked the organizers for conducing the programmes at different levels in a befitting manner.
Designated jury members, Suraj Singh, Bahadur Singh and Ms. Anita Sharma adjudged their performance and declared Aamir Khan, Master Nassar-ullah Bhat and Mohammad Suhail as 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the junior male category. Ms. Vibha Bharti and Ms. Sunaina Kundal were declared 1st and 2nd in the junior female category. In the senior male category, Sumit Bhardwaj, Ravjot Singh, Mudasir Bhat and Sahil Sharma were declared 1st, 2nd,, 3rd and 4th . Ms. Prayanka, Naina kousar and Ms. Sonali Rajput were declared prize winners in the said female category. Similarly in the masters level Rajesh Sharma, Khurshid Rather and Hangilla Hussain were adjudged prize winners and in the female category Ms. Harleen Kour, Ms Manju Bala and Ms. Kamlesh Sharma were declared winners.
On the occasion, mementoes were also distributed among the winners by DGP and other guests. Cash prizes were announced by the DGP on the spot.

Earlier, the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Jammu Range, Farooq Khan threw light on the campaign initiated from district level and said that the contestants of the event identified from remote areas have reached to Range Level competition with the utmost attempts of concerned district Superintendents of Police.

Chowdhery and Gulzar Singh Salaria, Deputy Inspectors General of Police, Alokpuri, T. Punchok, Jagdesh Kumar and Garib Dass, Superintendents of Police, Basant Rath, Israr Khan, J. L Sharma, Superintendents of Police, J. S. Jowhar and Shalinder Kumar and other police officers.
