Rajouri/Jammu, February 24 (Scoop News) – In order to inculcate the sense of patriotism and communal harmony among the youth, Jammu and Kashmir police organized a symposium at Govt Degree College Nowshera under the overall supervision of DIG Rajouri-Poonch Range and SSP Rajouri.
The Topic of the symposium was “Communal harmony and nation integration”.
As many as 15 participants from govt degree college Nowshera and 7 from govt higher sec schools Nowshera participated in the symposium.
Among others, who attended the symposium were Zubair Ahmed Raza Sub judge Nowshera, Prof. S P Chopra Principal govt degree college nowshera , Dr Vijay Sahni BMO Nowshera , Devinder Pual Tehsildar Nowshera and Principals of various Govt HSS.
Urvanshi Sharma of Govt H.S.S Chigus stood first whereas Sangeeta Sharma of Govt H.S.S Lemberi stood second and Ria Gupta of govt girl H.S.S Nowshera stood third. The first, second and third position holders were given cash prizes besides participation certificates which were also distributed among the participants.
As a part of community policing and to guide the youths to maintain the peace and create a congenial environment in the society, the J&K police is organising such functions.
The symposium was organized by Dr Koshal Sharma, Addl S.P Nowshera, G.L Sharma SDPO Nowshera and Insp. Mohd Shokat Choudhry SHO Nowshera.
